BIOGRAPHY
Pratikshya Dahal has been practicing corporate law since 2016, specializing in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and private equity. With some professional experience in the UK and extensive practice in Nepal, she brings a nuanced perspective to her work. As the team lead of the Equity Investment Team, she advises local and international clients on a broad range of transactions, including investment and corporate structuring, establishing joint ventures, and navigating M&A deals.
Pratikshya has extensive experience in setting up onshore private equity funds and offshore Nepal-focused funds, guiding clients through every stage of the transaction lifecycle. Her expertise spans deal structuring, conducting due diligence, drafting transaction agreements, managing post-completion matters, and advising on operational issues post-investment as well as exits.
In addition to her transactional work, Pratikshya plays a key role in legal reform initiatives. Recently, she collaborated with various stakeholders to reform private equity laws, fostering a more investment-friendly environment in Nepal. She is also a dedicated mentor and a certified trainer of trainers, regularly conducting training sessions on corporate law and private equity topics for startups, student entrepreneurs, journalists, and other stakeholders.
Pratikshya is passionate about writing on a variety of legal and policy issues. She contributes to the Legal Eagle column in Business 360 magazine, and her articles are also available in the “Articles” section of our website.
