Issue List of Draft NRB By-law

Nepal Rastra Bank (Central Bank of Nepal) had issued a draft of Foreign Investment and Foreign Loan Management By-law, 2021 (2078) (“Draft By-law”) for consultation purposes. The Draft By-law was drafted with an intention of attracting foreign investors and lenders to invest or lend in Nepal. It consolidated the scattered circulars, notices, and statutes and provided some clarity in existing laws related to foreign investment and foreign loan.

Our Task :

The Pioneer Law Associates worked with the World Bank to present a report to the Central Bank of Nepal on the Draft By-law. The report elucidates recommendations on practical and legal issues experienced by foreign investors and lenders along with the analysis of provisions of the Draft By-law.
