Amidst the global pandemic of Covid-19, Government of Nepal (GoN) has taken some precautionary measures to control this epidemic from being wide-spread in Nepal. For that purpose, GoN made an announcement on 20th March, 2020 i.e. 7 Chaitra, 2076 for suspending operations of non-essential services until 3rd April 2020 i.e. 21st Chaitra 2076. The announcement made by GON stated that only essential services (19 essential services as enlisted in Official Gazette published earlier) will continue to be available while other non-essential services and the court (Except hearing of habeas corpus writ) will be suspended until the aforementioned date.
In view of the above since, services provided by OCR does not fall under essential services, OCR has issued a notice stating that all the services provided by OCR will be suspended until 3rd April, 2020 i.e. 21st Chaitra, 2076. However, online services provided by OCR among others, reservation of company name, uploading of various corporate documents can still be accessed from the OCR’s website.
